SUPPRT GROUPS FOR BRAIN TUMOR SURVIVORS
Support groups provide educational and emotional support to those who attend. Groups are casual and comfortable.
The Brain Tumor Survivor Group meets at Gilda's Club, Louisville the 4th Tuesday of every month. Each meeting freatures a guest speaker.
A bereavement group meets on the 2nd Tuesday of every month at various dining establishments. The group is for those whose loved one has died and who wish to meet with others who have experienced loss.
For additional information on brain injury support groups visit the Survivor and Family section of the web site. Many individuals with brain tumors attend these groups, to meet with others who are experiencing similar loss of function.
Brain injury and brain tumor support groups are open to all who experience brain illness or injury and their families and caregivers.
