- Winter 2013
The Michael Quinlan Brain Tumor Program was founded in April 2001 to honor the life of Michael Quinlan. Michael was a reporter with the Courier-Journal and the author of the book, Little Lost Angel: The Story of Shanda Sharer. Michael died from a Glioblastoma and his wife, Kathy and sister, Eileen Edlin, formed the Michael Quinlan Brain Tumor Program to honor his memory and to support others who are struggling with brain tumor.
